until you've been mauled by coati.

It starts with one checking your jeans for treats:
coatimundi

Then before you know it, you've got two coati knocking you over by climbing on your back, shoulders, and head:
mauled

It's absolute bliss.

He also keeps my feet warm at night. Its only lie ins past what he calls breakfast time that are inconvenient.

Also, you might want to revise any impression you have about this cat being small....

In practice, they keep you awake by hammering on the door all night and leave huge scratchmarks in the finishing.

I kept it out of my bedroom all the time by keeping my door closed. He was only rarely allowed in.

Maybe that's the difference.

Unfortunately I have three of them, and between them they are multiskilled. The white one opens fridge and cupboard doors, and the grey and brown one turns on taps and opens doors by jumping for the handle. The silver tabby is a high speed raider.
